McConnells Electrical Company Ltd was formed in 1991 by Patrick McConnell and David Miller who previously worked together as electricians for several Midlands based mechanical and electrical contractors.

In the early days McConnells provided electrical installations and testing nationally. The company expanded steadily over the following years, branching out our service capabilities up to our present position as a Design and Build Mechanical and Electrical Contractor operating throughout the UK.
McConnells are now proudly approaching their 32nd year of trading where Pat and Dave are still actively involved in the development and running of the business.
McConnells offer M&E installations nationwide in the commercial, education, fit out, industrial, healthcare, retail and leisure sectors.
March 1991
On 26th March, McConnells Electrical Company Ltd was incorporated.
March 1992
We moved into single office/single store at Richardson House, Newark
February 1993
We relocated to larger offices on Castlegate, Newark, where our first computer was purchased!
March 1994
Further expansion resulted in the relocation of the company to offices on Friary Road, Newark.
July 1999
McConnells Electrical Services Ltd was incorporated providing temporary lighting and power solutions to exhibitions and shows nationwide.
January 2001
We relocated to our current home and head office on Cliff Nook Lane.
November 2014
McConnells Network Solutions Limited was incorporated to offer data installations and data project management nationwide.
November 2016
Mechanical Division was formed to offer M&E solutions nationwide.
